Where JG’s heat treatments happen

More than half of JG’s bed bug heat treatments, about 700, were in London postcode areas, which is also where JG carries out more than half of its bed bug work. Here London means 19 postcode areas: E, EC, N, NW, SE, SW, W, WC, BR, CR, DA, EN, HA, IG, KT, RM, SM, TW and UB.

The postcode districts with the most JG heat treatments in homes were:

  • CR0 (Croydon)
  • E14 (Poplar, Isle of Dogs and Canary Wharf)
  • SW17 (Tooting)
  • N16 (Stoke Newington)
  • SW18 (Wandsworth)
  • N1 (Islington)
  • E1 (Whitechapel)
  • SW16 (Streatham)

Each had between 10 and 15 heat treatments over the year. For all bed bug call-outs by district, see our London bed bug hotspot map.

Most of JG’s heat treatment specialists work from its London team, and they also carry out about half of JG’s heat treatments in the rest of southern England.

How big a heat treatment is

Heat treatments booked since December 2025 covered nearly four rooms on average. A heat treatment raises the temperature of the treated area to a level bed bugs and their eggs cannot survive.

Heat or spray: which is right for you?

Heat and a spray programme are the two main options, both work when done properly, and a survey decides which suits the property: your surveyor will recommend the one that fits your home. Every treatment is guaranteed, and JG Pest Control is the highest rated pest control company on Trustpilot, rated 4.7 out of 5 from more than 27,000 reviews.

How these figures are counted

JG Pest Control brand only (not other group brands), October 2025 to September 2026. Each paid, completed order is counted once, in the month of its first completed visit. “Treatments” means heat, spray and steam treatments; surveys and tests are not a treatment choice and are left out. Regions are grouped by the postcode area of the property treated. Scotland and Northern Ireland are reported in words only. District counts are for homes. Figures were checked twice, by two independent queries of JG’s job records.
