What to check you are getting

When you compare prices, check what the price actually includes, not just the headline figure:

  • A guarantee. Not every company offers one, so ask what happens if the problem comes back.
  • Qualified technicians. Ask whether the technician is RSPH (BPCA) Level 2 certified.
  • The price up front. Make sure you are told the price before any work starts.
  • Return visits. Check how many visits are included if the first treatment does not clear the problem.

Rat treatment carries a 4-month guarantee. The four-month treatment guarantee begins from the date of the initial treatment. Any subsequent follow-up visits are included within the original guarantee period and do not extend or restart the guarantee.

What changes the price

  • Your postcode. Prices vary by area, and London costs more.
  • Weekends and holidays. No surcharge for weekends or holidays.
  • Extra early visits. An extra rodent visit before the next scheduled one is £49.99 + VAT.
