Bee training day

Eleven of the JG team spent a day learning about the biology and humane handling of honey bees with Bees for Development (beesfordevelopment.org).

At JG we do everything we can to remove bees without harming them, and training like this is a big part of why we are so good at it. The day went down well, and everyone who attended came away positive about it.

Senior Technician Will Timms commented:

“Really enjoyed it. Very informative and very useful. We can make a difference where other pest control companies are failing. The trainer was very impressed that we want to help bees thrive and not die, and she wished other companies would follow our example.”

Senior Technician Paul Wilson added:

“The day was really good. I have dealt with bees before but not in this way, and it is a good move for the company.”

Field Executive Paul Gale summed up the day, and everyone’s feelings about the training:

“Extremely interesting for everyone. Learning about the biology of bees and their conservation is going to help us grow as the bee-friendly pest control company. Thanks to Nicola and her team at Bees for Development.”
